How do I create a book?

In the Livros (Books) tab, create a new book, give it a title and choose photos from your library (or take photos with the camera) or a PDF file. Then tap the cover to open the slideshow.

How do I turn pages and show the controls?

Swipe sideways to go forward and back. The controls start hidden: tap the screen to see them.

How do I reorder or delete pages?

In the book's menu, choose the page edit mode. The list shows thumbnails, with buttons to move up and down; swipe a page to delete it. The pages of PDF books are not edited: only the title, description, tags and cover.

The PDF will not open or says "file too large".

In Ajustes > Limites de tamanho (Settings > Size limits) you set the maximum size of a PDF per book (default: 20 MB) and of the backup file (default: 500 MB). Raise the limit and try again.

How do I back up and take my books to another device?

In Ajustes > Backup, export all books to a .mybooks file and keep it wherever you like. On the other device, open the app and import the file (or open the file directly from the Files app or from email). Importing never replaces a book that already exists: it creates new copies.

My books do not show up on my other Apple device.

Check that both devices use the same Apple Account, that iCloud is on and that you have free space. Syncing only happens with an internet connection and can take a few minutes. There is no sync between iPhone and Android: use the backup file.

I denied camera access. Now what?

Open the device settings, find My Books and turn on Camera. Without the camera you can still use photos from your library.

Can I use the app in English?

For now the app is in Portuguese only.
